the holocaoust

Iran said it did not deny the Nazi crimes, but questioning the Holocaust (Reuters-Archive) condemned the United States Conference organized by Iran on the Holocaust during the Second World War, or what is known internationally as the "holocaust", and described the conference as a "shameful". A spokesman for the State Department Sean McCormack that the conference will be held under the direct supervision of the Iranian government on 11 and December 12 of this month, questioned the "fact of the Holocaust," considering the event "a terrible initiative further by Tehran on this issue." He believed that the denial of "the death of more than six million people in the Holocaust is really surprising." It is expected to participate in this conference, more than sixty researchers and academics from the 30th state. Also expected to question him in the stomach studies that the Nazis used gas chambers to kill Jews. The Secretary-General of the United Nations Kofi Annan has expressed his regret Thursday for a conference questioned in a "dreadful holocaust." He said his spokesman, Stephane Dujarric that Annan was "any attempt to cast doubt on the truth of this is terrible and unique and unwavering, would stir fierce opposition from every person of good will, whatever their religion." Dujarric said that the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution last year before "rejects any denial of the Holocaust, even partial, as a historic event," as the decision to make January 27 a day to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust. For its part, the Iranian authorities said last week that this conference will be held "without any preconceived ideas." The Deputy Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mohammadi that the organization of the conference due to the absence of a reply to questions put forward by President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the Holocaust. It is noteworthy that the Iranian President, who believed that "Israel off the map", questioned the size of the Holocaust, and considered it a myth used by the Jews and the Europeans for the establishment of the State of Israel.
